Analytics + ROI

Overview

The Stockisto analytics dashboard shows how your retailer network performs: how many consumers are discovering your products through your locator, which retailers are most active, and what the estimated commercial impact is.

Engagement rateEngaged retailers / total active retailers
Avg. interactions per retailerMean consumer touches across your network

Confidence labels

Some metrics include a confidence label (High / Medium / Low):

  • High — based on ≥30 days of data with consistent signal
  • Medium — based on 7–29 days of data or some signal variation
  • Low — based on fewer than 7 days of data; treat as directional only

New account data

For the first 7 days after going live, all metrics will show Low confidence. This is expected — give it 2–4 weeks for reliable baseline data.

ROI maturity model

Your ROI proof evolves as data accumulates:

StageData requiredWhat you get
Baseline0–30 daysEngagement metrics only; no ROI calculation yet
Early signal30–90 daysEstimated reach, engagement lift vs. baseline
ROI proof90+ daysFull ROI calculation: estimated revenue influenced, cost-per-touch, before/after comparison

Getting to ROI proof faster

Import all your retailers (not just a sample) and set up the GTM install on your main product pages. More traffic = faster confidence accumulation.

Reading the ROI proof PDF

The ROI proof PDF (available from the dashboard after 90+ days of data) contains:

  1. Executive summary — headline numbers suitable for board/executive reporting
  2. Engagement funnel — locator views → searches → retailer detail views → directions CTAs
  3. Estimated revenue influenced — based on engagement data × estimated conversion rates × average order value
  4. Before/after comparison — engagement metrics in the 90 days before vs. after Stockisto launch
  5. Per-retailer breakdown — top 10 and bottom 10 retailers by engagement

Estimated figures

Revenue figures are estimates based on engagement proxies and industry conversion benchmarks. They are not direct sales data from your POS or e-commerce system. Use them as directional indicators.

UTM attribution

When consumers click "Get directions" or a retailer link in the Stockisto locator, the URL includes UTM parameters:

  • utm_source=stockisto
  • utm_medium=locator
  • utm_campaign={your-brand-slug}

You can verify these in Google Analytics or your analytics tool by filtering traffic by utm_source=stockisto.

Purchase intent signals

When a consumer clicks "Get directions" in the locator, Stockisto records a purchase intent signal. These are visible in the dashboard under AnalyticsIntent signals.

A high intent signal count relative to locator views indicates strong consumer activation.

Data export

Export your analytics data as CSV from AnalyticsExport. The export includes:

  • All event-level engagement data for the selected date range
  • Retailer-level aggregate metrics
  • UTM attribution data (if available)
